International Trophée Mille is a gastronomic contest for students of culinary arts. It is open to all school of the catering fields, all over the world. The next contest will be the 18th of March, in the Congress Centre of Reims.

12 teams from 12 different countries were selected and invited at this Trophy.
The winner will be annonced at 6:30 PM the same day. 
For the first time, contest is open and free for visitors from 9 AM to 1 PM. 

JURY MEMBERS of edition #9

15 Chefs will be on place to guide and transmit their french gastronomy passion. At the end of contest, they will selected the best team which win the 9th International Trophée Mille.

REQUIRED PRODUCTS FOR eDITION #9

DUCK BREAST

Fillet of duck breast is piece of chest coming from a fattened duck. Anne-Sophie and Jean-Marie are located close to Châlons-en-Champagne where they breed Mulards ducks. Animals eat cereals produced by themselves and traditionally force-fed. Meat is also processed on place : sign of quality.

BISCUIT ROSE

Biscuit Rose de Reims, is a local culinary speciality whose produced since the 17th century. after Champagne, this cake is probably the most famous thing in Reims! Biscuits can be eaten alone or used in pastry. In addition to its pink aspect, it is distinguished by a crunchy and mellow taste.

CHAMPAGNE

Celebration, luxury and delicacy are usually synonym of Champagne. Brut Carte Jaune is a beautiful wine, representative of the Veuve Clicquot Style. This Champagne is really appreciated for its fines bubbles, but also for its seductive and balanced taste : white fruit and toasty aromas sign this beverage to make it a key wine.

BUTTERNUT

Butternut is a variety of squash, a plant of cucurbits family. There are many varieties of squash of which the butternut is part. This vegetable has a firm and sweet flesh. It brings a lot of smoothness to a dish, that is why it is quite coveted by the cooks.
